2017 Summer Camp June 12-16
Announcing our next Summer Bridge Camp for Youth. June 12-16, 2017 at Brier Creek Community Center in Raleigh. NOON-4 PM. For ages 10-17.
DESCRIPTION: Imagine an easy to learn, challenging game you can play for a lifetime, yet never master. Imagine a card game involving more strategy, codes, and skill than any video game. Imagine playing this card game online! Imagine your communication and social skills enhanced by a game that teaches ethical competition, and improves reasoning and math skills This is bridge, the card game that has captured youth, the game that Bill Gates and Warren Buffet and Malcolm Forbes champion, the game played in over 20 clubs in the Triangle with tournaments for youth offered locally, statewide, and nationwide. Our team of local bridge enthusiasts partner with the American Contract Bridge League to provide a sound foundation in basics for a lifetime of enjoyment.
FEES are $50 for Raleigh residents/$65 for nonresidents, payable to Raleigh Parks and Recreation. There is also a $25 materials fee payable to Raleigh Junior Bridge the first day of class.
We have space for 15 beginners and 5 advancing players.
REGISTRATION INFO: via Raleigh Parks and Recreation:
- Enter 202782 in the 'select program by barcode' space, and click the magnifying icon
- A screen will appear with the camp description. Click "ADD"
- If you are not registered with RPR, you will be prompted to do this. Then enter your registration # and pin #, and follow the check out prompts. You will receive a confirmation.
